JFK Engineering started in September 1969 in a rented unit on Goongarrie Street, Bayswater, Western Australia. The Shire of Bayswater soon decided we were using up far too much space on the footpath for jobs that were too large to manufacture inside these premises and kindly suggested we seek larger premises.

In 1972 JFK Engineering obtained 2 acres of land in Norlin Street, Kewdale and erected a much larger workshop.

In 1981 JFK Engineering were taken over by Winterbottom Holdings, then by Decmil Engineering Construction in 1985. JFK Engineering later moved into its existing premises at 32 Davison Street Maddington in December of that year.
