JFK Engineering regards the health and safety of its employees to be of prime importance.
The Company recognises its legal and moral responsibility to provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, safe systems of work and competent supervision for all employees, subcontractors and any other person who may visit the work place or site works.
The management team considers anything less to be unacceptable. Key to the achievement of these goals is the identification and minimisation of hazards, which will be actively pursued.
JFK’s Safety Committee meets once a week to discuss safety improvements, identification of hazards, incident reports and incentive programmes. Toolbox meetings are held weekly on a nominated day. All minutes of the meeting are pinned to notice boards in the office and workshop for employee review. All employees are required and strongly encouraged to participate in the evolution of the Safety Management System by identifying hazards in the workplace and by providing suggestions for the improvement of safety in the workplace.
